Maizie had a second-hand MG Midget, not a Morris Minor which was the standard vehicle for Learner-Drivers.
|
Maizie trained for the NCC (National Cadet Corps) and was appointed as the Commanding Officer for the Girls' Unit at Yusof Ishak Secondary School. She was quite a tough young bird - then.

Such a sweet love story.
I say the boy from Paikok is better looking than the soldier boy.
Looking forward to Episode 2, just love the drawings !
Macam biasa dengar.. anak murid jatuh hati pada guru.. infatuation?!?..

Oh dear Wan Sharif,

Thank you fot popping in.
CO at NCC? Wow, I did not know that! After 4 years of NCC at JSS, I was still Private.
The CO feared me, though. That was good enough.
Thank you Bru,
How did you manage to get into the pukka NCC?
