Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri

To all dear friends, young and old, near and far, Selamat Hari Raya, Maaf Zahir dan Batin from maznoor and iain.

And to my adored sister Maznah and much-loved brother Mustapha and their families

The New Zealand Family

Come earthquake or hail or storm we will be with the other half of the family until 30th September with Lely aka pickled herring as chaperone Insyallah.

I have not seen my sisters-in-law and their families for nearly five years. Bride and Jane many, many, many, moons ago.

This is as good a time as any. G'day Kiwi rellies!

Ah, Sun - Flower! weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the Sun;
Seeking after that sweet golden clime,
Where the traveller's journey is done:

  4. Dear Wan Sharif,

    Many many thanks for the "translation".

    Nak sakat orang tua ya? Ini mesti minta banyak maaf dah! No, I often get teased by youngsters - it's a sign of affection, I think. But 'Allah be willing' is never out of my heart and mind. But thanks for noting the omission.

    Finally Selamat Hari Raya Wan Sharif, to you and all your loved ones. We'll be in 'touch' come October, Insyallah

  17. Miss Hamid,

    Selamat hari Raya MaaF zahir batin, to you and Iain. Raya day itself was a quiet affair in KL with my own family but last weekend all five children of arwahs Attan and Aminah got together in kampung, the Republic of Lubok Cina, Melaka. A bit of mercun and bunga api to make the kids happy and their moms fret, and it's great Eid.

    Driving down to Singapore for the night F1 and to beRaya with some friends from JSS like Mazlan. Hope to meet up with Lely and Irene, too.
